Cats for Adoption
WELCOME TO THE HOLLISTER ANIMAL SHELTER
ADOPT-A-CAT PAGE!
NEW!
Cats, dogs and other animals for Adoption at the Hollister Animal
Shelter, as well as lost pets, are now listed on the Pet Harbor web
site. Please click on the link below and follow the simple
instructions to view all our amazing animals...
The Hollister Animal Shelter has many wonderful pets available for
adoption. Anyone interested in adopting a companion animal from
our facility must complete an adoption application. The information
you supply with the application helps with the adoption consultation.
The consultation process is designed to help us determine if the
adoption is in the animals best interest, and to assist you in finding
an animal most compatible with your lifestyle.
The companion animals available for adoption here arrived for a
variety of reasons, which include stray, abandoned and unwanted
animals. Some are purebred, mixed breed or the occasional
"heinz 57 breed." The adoption fee covers the spay or
neuter of the animal, a free veterinary exam from the local vet
clinics in Hollister, and an adoption "goodie bag." Dog
adoptions also come with a leash.
THE ADOPTION FEES ARE:
CATS (includes spay or
neuter)
$22.00 - MALES
$38.00 - FEMALES
$65.00 - MALES OR FEMALES (shelter
arranged spay or neuter including immunizations)
IF THEY ARE ALREADY SPAYED/NEUTERED (by prior owner):
$7.00 - MALE
$8.00 - FEMALE
DOGS
$54.00 - MALES OR FEMALES (includes
spay or neuter)
$75.00 - MALES OR FEMALES (shelter
arranged spay or neuter including immunizations)
IF THEY ARE ALREADY SPAYED/NEUTERED (by prior owner):
$19.00 - MALE
$14.00 - FEMALE (with proof of surgery
ie: vet records)

WE
NEED HELP! The Hollister Animal Shelter needs good foster homes
to bottle feed kittens until they are able to eat on their own.
Once the kittens are able to eat, the kittens come back to the Animal
Shelter to be adopted. If you are unable to foster a litter of orphaned
kittens, the animal shelter desperately needs donations of CANNED
GOAT'S MILK and HEATING PADS.
