Second Chance Animal Rescue
Every year thousands of animals are euthanized in Animal Shelters across the state due to pet overpopulation, limited resources and overcrowding. Our goal as a rescue organization is to give these animals a second chance at life. With the cooperation and assistance of our local shelters, we are able to retrieve animals from these shelters and adopt them into new homes. Many adoptable animals end up in shelters because they are no longer cute little puppies or kittens but are now adult dogs or cats. Some are strays caught in traps or a neglected pet who has developed a behavior that requires the owner to spend a little time training them. We believe these animals who have loved their owners unconditionally deserve better than this. They deserve a second chance. We are committed to giving them this chance All of our animals available for adoption are from Animal Shelters.

What You Can Do to Help
Adopting an animal is a serious commitment. Don't do it on a whim. Look at all aspects of adopting this pet. Will this puppy get too big or be too active for your lifestyle? Are you willing to take your dog to obedience training if needed? Are you willing to take the time to train your kitten not to claw the furniture? If you need to relocate will you do whatever is necessary to take your pet with you? Can you accept this animal as a part of your family? These are all important considerations to adopting a pet. When deciding to adopt, check your local animal shelter for a new pet. Make sure your pets (including indoor pets) have a collar and ID tag with your current address and phone number. If your pet is missing, check the animal shelter within 24 hours and check frequently. Yes, many cats end up in animal shelters and most are never claimed by their owners.
